Although Sony and Microsoft are currently in a row as regulators analyze Xbox’s deal to buy Activision Blizzard King, other than that there seems to be a good relationship between the two companies, as it was just announced that Minecraft Legends is one of the free games that will be able to get subscribers to the PlayStation Plus service during the month of March.
Yesterday, a State of Play from Sony was released and it confirmed the selection of free video games for subscribers to the PlayStation Plus service in March, available for Essential, Plus and Premium plans. March’s free games for PS Plus are Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein.
The free PS Plus games for the month of March will be redeemable from March 7 until April 3, 2023, when the selection changes for the following free games. Although Minecraft Dungeons is available on all platforms, this is the first time we’ve seen a free Microsoft game on PlayStation Plus monthly games.
Battlefield 2042 had a disappointing launch, but DICE has been improving the game ever since, bringing back the classic class system with its latest seasonal update. Over the next month, PS Plus subscribers will be able to purchase the base game for free to access it as long as they have an active subscription. The third free game of the month is Code Vein, which we can use during the same period.
The arrival of Minecraft Dungeons on the PlayStation Plus service was announced during State of Play yesterday, but when Sony made the announcement via the official PlayStation social media account, Phil Spencer shared it celebrating that more more gamers can access Xbox games.
