If you liked Unpacking Organization Simulator and you like motorhomes, we have the perfect game for you.
Similar to 2021’s indie hit Unpacking, in Camper Van: Make it Home players are tasked with turning a camper into a home by organizing all of the main character’s belongings and making the place more comfortable. As you can see in the trailer below, players will have to get creative to use what little space they have.
Rather than just unpacking their own house, it looks like players will also have some freedom with the design of the van. In a scene from the trailer, we are shown some of the ways we can decorate the outdoor space around our motorhome during hot and cold seasons.
There also appears to be a story to discover in-game, as well as a scrapbook element where players will collect items such as photos, postcards, notes, and local foliage and compile them into a journal to remember every step of the way. You won’t have to do it alone either, because at the end of the trailer we spotted a corgi wearing a bandana that looks like it’s about to join your adventures on the road, how cute!
The Kickstarter campaign (opens in a new tab) for Camper Van: Make it Home will launch on April 5, so if you want to follow its progress, we suggest signing up to receive notifications when the project is complete. . You can also show your support by following the game’s Andalusian developer, Malapata Studio, on Blood (opens in a new tab).
Camper Van: Make it Home is slated for release in 2024 on PC (via Steam), as well as Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
While we wait for this one to come out, find out what else we have to look forward to with our next indie games list.
