The Pokémon fans among you can look forward to a few smaller and larger announcements soon. At least that’s what a recent tweet from the Pokémon insider “Kelios” revealed, which recently spoke out with a corresponding rumor.
Fittingly: This is what awaits you in Pokémon GO in January 2021
According to him, Nintendo is allegedly planning a new edition of “Pokémon Direct” – a video presentation around the Pokémon brand with lots of announcements, news and other promotions. If the insider’s estimates are correct, this event could take place on February 25, 2021. That would be just a few days before the big anniversary: On February 27, Pokémon will celebrate its 25th birthday – “Pokémon Day”. It does not seem unlikely that a new Direct edition will actually be on view shortly beforehand in order to get fans around the world in the mood. Perhaps the announcement of a remake or even a completely new game is on the agenda.
So far, however, there has been neither a statement nor a confirmation from Nintendo or the Pokémon Company, so you should at least consider the whole matter as a rumor for the time being. However, the Twitter user and insider “Kelios” was correct several times in the past with his leaks about the Pokémon brand, so that there could be some truth in the matter. As soon as the first tangible information is available, you will of course find it immediately in our news section.
