Bandai Namco confirms a worldwide release for My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble.

Originally scheduled for last February, the closed beta of My Hero Academia : Ultra Rumble will take place in two phases during the month of August. The first will take place on August 18 between 4 a.m. and 12 p.m., while the second is scheduled from August 19 at 4 a.m. to August 22 at 8 a.m.

“The world of My Hero Academia offers an amazing gallery of heroes and villains each equipped with powerful Quirks that bring to life an intense Battle Royale experience, free and faithful to the great themes of the license“, explains Aoba Miyazaki, producer at Bandai Namco. “We look forward to getting early feedback from players during the MHA Ultra Rumble Closed Beta and working with the community to create an unforgettable Battle Royale experience for all fans of online multiplayer gaming.”

In My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble, fans will join the hero or villain side in one of eight three-player teams competing on huge city maps. To survive, players will have to cooperate with their teammates and make the best use of the characters’ Quirks to defeat their enemies. They will also be able to contribute to the victory of their team by saving or intimidating civilians in order to obtain powerful items capable of turning the tide of battle.

Developed by BYKING, My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble will be released later this year on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
