MultiVersus, the fighting game that took the world by storm last year, hasn’t enjoyed consistent success. The anticipation for the game faded and the second season content failed to revive it, so many people gave up on the platform fighting game.
This has recently become evident on Steam, where MultiVersus’ daily maximum player count has dropped below four figures, with just 986 players through Valve’s digital platform.
It’s not all bleak, as there may still be small communities of MultiVersus gamers on other platforms, but this SteamDB data certainly shows that the game is struggling to survive and sustain player interest.
We can’t say for sure if MultiVersus will be able to bounce back, but they have a lot of work to do if they want to get back to a consistent playerbase.
