users of Xbox Game Pass It’s already possible since yesterday with a new strategy/action RPG named Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord.

Few games claim to be both a strategy game and an action RPG, but the Mount and Blade 2 games achieve this, each different depending on how players decide to approach obstacles.

In Mount and Blade 2, players can create a character to explore, plunder, and conquer; engage in diplomacy and trade; and gather armies, through various means, and fight alongside those troops in real-time battles.

Mount and Blade 2 promises an intuitive skill-based combat system that should satisfy those who try it today on Xbox Game Pass.

Mount and Blade 2 is available on all platforms under the Xbox Game Pass banner, including cloud, consoles, and PC. What Game Pass users will want to keep in mind is that the PC version of the game seems to be the best, which is common for strategy games.

On Steam, it has 169,000 “very positive” reviews, but the console versions of MetaCritic and OpenCritic tend to decline from there. That’s not to say the console reviews are bad, as they’re in the 70-80 range, but the PC version may be the ultimate way to play.
