Morrowind Rebirth: what’s new in version 6.2
Version 6.2 brings many new features. We have listed the most important ones below.
- New weapons and the ability to purchase tents have been added.
- The altars have diversified in many dungeons.
- Ordinary inhabitants of the world have stopped reacting aggressively to any unwanted player behavior. Now they only do it when a very serious crime is committed.
- NPCs have gained better paths to move around towns.
- An NPC has appeared at Tel Naga Tower and offered fast travel to Tel Aruhn, Tel Branor, and Tel Mora.
- The scripts of many guilds (including thieves and smugglers) have been improved so that they are reluctant to speak to our character before we gain their trust.
- Many interiors and other locations have been embellished. A considerable set of new models have also been introduced for many characters.
- Traditionally, dozens of bugs were also fixed that prevented, for example, the player from getting stuck at a table in one of Balmor’s houses.
With version 6.2, the player can buy tents.
Morrowind Rebirth is a project that aims to improve and expand the game in general. In practice, this is an unofficial remaster that improves graphics and gameplay, while introducing many new elements. One of the main draws of the mod is a completely redesigned world map that is more realistic and more populated with objects and characters.
Finally, it should be added that in order to play with the mod you will need the game with all the DLCs. Also, Morrowind Code Patch is required unless you are using OpenMW.
