With the launch of Season 2 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 there war zone 2Infinity Ward released a new launch trailer showing off all the new stuff.
It’s a big week as Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are finally getting the big Season 2 update, which has unfortunately been delayed for a few weeks. The biggest element of this update is the arrival of a new Warzone map called Ashika Island, a location that many compare to another smaller Rebirth Island-like experience.
In addition to new content, Warzone 2 is undergoing a number of significant changes to its core gameplay. The popular battle royale has already outlined some of the changes to the Warzone experience, including the streamlining and standardization of the vest system, removing the different sizes in favor of 3 plate only versions.
Additionally, the backpack and loot system has also been simplified, with all players having the same backpack size. With so much content on the way, Infinity Ward is giving players their first look with the Season 2 launch trailer.
The latest Call of Duty: Warzone 2 trailer kicks off the game by showing the return of “Resurgence” mode, which will take place on the island of Ashika. The news is welcomed by many fans as Resurgence is a faster mode that allows you to respawn as long as at least 1 squad member is alive.
Additionally, the trailer also confirms the arrival of ranked multiplayer, which the community has been asking for for a long time. Finally, the Gulag returns to the traditional 1v1.1, eliminating the 2vs. 2 bundled with Warzone 2.
