Over the past year, several highly acclaimed video game adaptations have emerged and one of them is Cyberpunk: Edge Runners the anime from Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red which premiered exclusively on Netflix in September last year and is set in the universe of Cyberpunk: 2077. Since then we have seen several cosplays of Lucy but the beautiful Mochichuu presented an alternative version that we will call Lucy Neko.
Since the first and only season of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime aired, we’ve seen many tributes to Lucy, as she easily became a fan-favorite character. MochiChuu is a very talented cosplayer who has been transforming into Lucy since mid-October, but then surprised anime fans with her alternate Lucy Neko cosplay.
The talented cosplayer known as Mochi and MochiChuu has been showcasing her costumes on social media for over five years, so she already has plenty of experience and hundreds of works in her portfolio. To date, Mochi has come up with a few cosplays of Lucy with different looks, but one imagines her wearing the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime costume and cat ears.
In mid-October, Mochi showed off his first Lucy cosplay and that same month he showed an alternate version, albeit both with casual outfits that imagine the character in a modern setting. At the end of November, we saw Mochi’s first cosplay as Lucy with the costume she uses in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, albeit accompanied by cat ears which honestly don’t look bad on her.
The best look at the Lucy Neko cosplay MochiChuu gave us came on the second day of December, when he posted one more photo that lets us imagine an otaku version of Lucy, sure to please Cyberpunk fans: Edgunners, have played Cyberpunk: 2077 or not.
