This is probably one of the most unusual PCs we’ve ever seen – but it goes well with Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Not so long ago we reported on a $20,000 flight simulator for Microsoft Flight Simulator that Nvidia’s modding team made. Although this is a unique piece, nothing would go better than the spectacular gaming research from the following message.

Because Microsoft is giving away as part of the latest updates for the Flight Simulator (France and Benelux) a PC that is in a housing that looks like an aircraft turbine. This is also a unique piece.

It is not entirely clear who can take part in the raffle and how long it will last. It will be hosted by the Twitter channel Xbox FR, ie Xbox France. However, we see no reason why the raffle should not take place worldwide. In any case, you can easily register – this is how it works:

  • Retweet the post and follow XboxFR
  • Comment with the hashtag #MicrosoftFlightSimulator

If you actually win in the end, please let us know!

What’s in the PC?

In addition to the really extraordinary case mod, there is of course a real gaming PC in the aircraft turbine. Whether it is a turbine in the proverbial sense, however, is another matter.

These are the components:

  • Mainboard: Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite AX
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 11700K (8C/16T, 3,6/5,0 GHz)
  • Graphic card: Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 (more precise details about the model are missing)

The Microsoft Flight Simulator challenges the hardware properly. We therefore see the setup only to a limited extent for playing games at the highest level of detail including 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). WQHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) or Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) should be more suitable.

Good luck with the raffle!
