The next major update is imminent for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The developers of Asobo Studio are currently working on the world update 4, which will provide additional details and recordings for France and the Benelux countries of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

In a current developer round on YouTube, the creators are now giving a first look at the new content. In their video we can see the detailed recordings. Also included are the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, the Museum on the River in Antwerp and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

More than 100 sights are to be revised. With your plane, for example, you will cross the famous windmills in Holland. Players can also look forward to additional airports and squares that Asobo Studio creates and maintains by hand.

It remains to be seen which cities Asobo will ultimately address and optimize for World Update 4. The fact that the French capital Paris, among others, will experience additional photogrammetry optimizations should be a given.

As soon as we get more information about this, you will find out as usual in our news area. The release of the new patch is currently planned for the beginning of April. A specific date has not yet been given. World Update 4 was originally announced for the end of March. Because of the delay in world update 3, Asobo probably had to correct the release plan a little backwards.
