The world update 3 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is postponed again

As the developers of Asobo Studio announced in a recent blog entry, the activation will be delayed by a few days. The update is now planned for February 16th.

“World Update 3 is in the final Polish phase and is now scheduled for release on February 16,” write the developers, adding that the team is doing the final touches on the “extensive update”.

This meant that the patch had to be postponed a second time. Due to various problems with the new photogrammetry data, the patch first had to be updated from February 2nd to February 11th.

Shortly afterwards, the makers announced that they had finally implemented the corresponding data in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and that the patch was planned for February 11th.

Asobo Studio did not give any specific reasons for the renewed postponement to February 16. With World Update 3, fans can look forward to many new details and aerial photos of Great Britain and Ireland.

There are now 70 more attractions, five additional airports (Barra, Liverpool, Land’s End, Manchester-Barton and Out Skerries), two new landing challenges and photogrammetry data for five more cities (London, Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol). World Update 4 has already been announced for the end of March, which should contain additional details for France and the Benelux countries. We’ll keep you up to date in our Gaming news area.
