Metroid Prime Remastered rating date listed for 2021 by USK

A list of notes for Metroid Prime Remastered some fans are wondering if the game was ready to launch in 2021.
Now that the title is out, it’s been added to the USK database. The qualification date is listed for July 2021. It is now February 2023, so it goes without saying how long that was.
Rumors of Metroid Prime returning to Switch have persisted over the years. However, since that never materialized, many wondered if it was something that was actually in the works.
There’s been talk recently that Nintendo sometimes “sits” on games, which means a game’s development is complete and Big N chooses the most optimal time to release it. In these cases, they could be ready from months or even years in advance.
There was a similar discussion recently around Fire Emblem Engage. In the ranking of the game once again from the USK, that one had a August 2021 qualification dateeven though the launch took place in January 2023.
Metroid Prime Remastered is currently available on the Switch eShop. Those looking to get a physical copy can do so on February 22.
