A Marvel Snap Tier List for cards is an interesting prospect, as you are limited to 12 cards per deck despite the large number of cards in the deck. However, some cards are definitely superior, especially when you have the right decks to back them up.
While our list of the best Marvel Snap decks covers some of the most popular decklists in the popular card game right now, this tier list looks at individual cards and their power on their own, or perhaps when they are used in combination with one or two others. So here’s our Marvel Snap tier list for every Group 1 map right now, to give you a head start on one of the best free PC games this year.
Marvel Snap Pool 1 Tier List
Set 1 includes base cards and spans set levels 1 through 218. Completing this set of cards might seem like a daunting task if you’re new to the game, but once you start earning credits , it goes pretty quickly. If you immediately prioritize the most expensive map upgrades, you can level up multiple collection tiers at once.

Level S | Diablo, Korg, Ant-Man |
a level | Mantis, Nova, Rocket Raccoon, Elektra |
Level B | Sword, Iron Fist, Hawkeye, Yondu, Squirrel Girl |
C-level | Angel |
D-level | Mercury, Misty Knight |
Some 1-cost cards are very deck-dependent (you’ll only want to run Iron Fist in a move deck or Angel in a destroy deck, for example), but others, like the S-tier here, are about right for you. All. any archetype if you’re looking for something solid.
Nightcrawler is arguably the best 1-drop in the game thanks to its ability to switch locations. Korg’s Rock helps clear up your opponent’s deck, which is vital here since in most games there are only a few cards left in each deck at the end, and Ant-Man gets a huge upgrade if you fill one out. is an easy requirement to fulfill. Elektra was at S level, but as the meta evolves she sees less play now.
Further down the list you’ll find slightly weaker 1-drops that are even more deck-specific, but either way, you don’t want to run Quicksilver or Misty Knight. Quicksilver means you are Not less you’ll likely pull the combo cards you need to reach your win condition, while Misty Knight has no abilities and therefore has no advantage over Nightcrawler, Mantis, Rocket Raccoon, or Korg, who all have the same stats and capacities. .
2 List of cost tiers

Level S | Multiple man, carnage |
a level | Angela, Armor, Wolverine, Sentinel |
Level B | Cable, Scarlet Witch, Colossus, Medusa, Star Lord |
C-level | Forge, Lizard, Dark Lord |
D-level | dominoes surprise |
Multiple Man and Carnage are the stars of the show in movement and destruction decks respectively, which are two of the most important decks in the meta right now. As a result, they greatly deserve their S-tier placements…until a nerf hits, anyway. Angela is well placed in kazoo decks, but not essential for the win condition, while the same goes for Wolverine in destruction decks.
At the other end of the table, Domino has the same problem as Quicksilver in that he takes up valuable slot for a larger card and Shocker has no abilities. Forge gives the next card you play +2 power, but when it has only one power and there is usually an optimal 2-cost card to play, it is placed at level C. The lizard spawns there because it’s usually easy to counter, and Mister Sinister can offer 4 powers for 2 costs, but spread across two maps, it’s disappointing and takes up valuable space in a location.

Level S | hulk destroyer, deathlok |
a level | Captain America, Lady Sif, The Punisher, Wolfsbane |
Level B | Bishop, Cosmo, Doctor Strange, Swordmaster, Mister Fantastic |
C-level | Groot, Morph, Heart of Iron |
D-level | Cyclops |
The earlier you play Hulk Buster the better, as long as you have a card you want to merge it with. It retains the abilities of the randomly chosen card it merges with, frees up an extra slot there because you only have one card instead of two, and especially in move decks, play Multiple Man on Hulk Buster is winning the game. Deathlok does the same in destruction decks, as he can take out Bucky Barnes, Wolverine, Nova, and other cards that benefit from self-destruction.
Cyclops has no abilities, so he ranks last on the list, and while it’s fun to run Ironheart in an Odin deck for multiple benefits, the lack of power and the random nature of his picking the make it quite inconsistent. groot is GOOD, but Star Lord has the same effect for a lower cost, making it a bit more flexible. Meanwhile, Morph also suffers from inconsistency and likely won’t benefit your deck archetype.

cards | |
Level S | |
a level | Ka-Zar, Reine Blanche, Enchantress, Miles Morales, Moon Girl |
Level B | Namor Jessica Jones |
C-level | a strong boy |
D-level | The thing |
So far, no 4-drop in the Marvel Snap has been solidified as an S-tier card. Ka-Zar is important for kazoo decks (the archetype is named after him, after all), but if you don’t draw Ka-Zar, Blue Marvel and Captain America can do the job, so it’s not vital. White Queen is strong with a power of 6 but has a disappointing ability, while Enchantress is only useful in On Reveal decks. Miles Morales Spider-Man is cheap if you manage to move one of your cards in the previous turn, so he pairs well with Nightcrawler, the best 1-drop, but you often only play him for his original cost .
Moon Girl started out at the same level as Strong Guy, but thanks to Devil Dinosaur’s current popularity (explained in the next section), he’s been elevated to Level A. Meanwhile, Strong Guy is very situational as it’s hard to s get rid of it. . all your cards in your hand to activate the buff, even when playing a kazoo deck with low cost cards. Also, The Thing has no abilities, so this pick speaks for itself.
5 List of cost tiers
cards | |
Level S | White Tiger, Blue Wonder, Devil Dinosaur |
a level | Klaw, Spider Woman, Gamora |
Level B | Steel man |
C-level | Professor X |
D-level | Abomination |
While White Tiger loses popularity as you move up the ladder, playing it on turn five on Odin before the game ends is a devastating blow to your opponent, especially if a slot is full so you can guarantee where will the white tiger go. Blue Marvel, on the other hand, is relatively underpowered for the cost, but as long as you’re playing a deck based on getting cards, the resulting advantage for all your cards in play is huge. Devil Dinosaur originally appeared in Tier B, but the current meta is very heavy, thanks to the Moon Girl combo on Devil Dino.
Spider-Woman and Gamora could arguably go to S tier because their abilities are so powerful, but they’re also a bit more situational and rely on your opponent to do certain things: get a lot of cards in one place for Spider-Woman or play a card at a specific location on the turn you play Gamora. Abomination has no abilities, so he becomes the lower level by default, and Professor X is very situational, as it’s very easy to lose a turn with him defending a spot you had to win anyway.
6 List of cost levels
cards | |
Level S | Odin, Assault |
a level | Specter, Apocalypse, Heimdall |
Level B | america chavez |
C-level | Casco |
D-level |
Odin and Onslaught are like yin and yang, as the former triggers all On Reveal effects again, while the latter doubles the potency of ongoing effects. Both are equally powerful, as long as you play decks with a lot of effects from either. Heimdall not being an S-level may come as a surprise to some, but there are two main reasons for this. It can certainly win the game from a losing position for a move deck, but that’s also not essential for the deck, since cards like Cloak can do the same job, just not as effectively. It’s also incredibly difficult to gauge exactly how much power you’ll have left after playing Heimdall on a busy board, so you often find yourself playing it like a Hail Mary instead of figuring out exactly where it’s best. .
Apocalypse and Spectrum are extremely powerful in their respective decks, and while America Chavez may look like Quicksilver and Domino, because you draw her last, it ensures that you only have a pool of 11 cards to draw and set up combos. A big help if your deck’s win condition revolves around lower-cost cards. Hulk also has no abilities, but instead of being at the bottom of the barrel, his 12 power means he can spin a single slot towards the endgame, rather than being completely useless.
