Granblue Fantasy Vol.8

Granblue Fantasy is a manga scripted by Makoto Fûgetsu (designer of Re: Zero) and drawn by COCHO. It takes up the story of the eponymous mobile game, released in 2014 in Japan. The plot takes place in a fantastic universe, where the population lives on heavenly islands. We follow the journey of Gran, a teenager in search of the mysterious island of stars evoked by his deceased father. While his native island of Zinkenstill is attacked by the Empire, he will meet Lyria, a young girl with extraordinary powers.

Final Fantasy – Lost Stranger Vol.6

Final Fantasy – Lost Stranger is a manga drawn by Itsuki Kameya and written by Hazuki Minase. This is the first manga of the license with the original story. It features Shogo and his sister Yuko, employees at Square Enix and dreaming of working on the Final Fantasy saga. After an accident which costs them their lives, Shogo and Yuko are propelled into the universe of the license. Strangers lost in an unknown place, they will have to survive in a world much more hostile than at first.

Ni no Kuni – The Heir of the Light and the Cat Prince Vol. 2

Ni no Kuni – The Heir of Light and the Cat Prince is a manga drawn and written by Ran Kuze in collaboration with Level-5 (Ni no Kuni: Revenge of the Heavenly Witch, Ni no Kuni 2: Rise of a New Kingdom). We follow the story of Tasuku, a high school student taking care of his little brother after the loss of their parents. One evening, when he comes home from his kendo (sword) class, a stranger tries to assassinate him at his home. As he tries to protect his younger brother, an inter-dimensional portal will appear, teleporting him to the magical world of Ni No Kuni.

Demon Slayer Vol.15

Demon Slayer is a manga drawn and written by Koyoharu Gotouge. Taking place at the start of the 20th century, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado’s journey. Coming back from the market in the next town, he discovers that his entire family has been murdered by a demon. Only Nezuko, his younger sister, survived the attack but turned into a demon. Therefore, Tanjiro will begin a journey to find a vaccine capable of returning his sister to her human form. A video game adaptation for the PS4 is currently in development.

Pokémon – The Great Adventure – Sword & Shield Vol. 1

Pokémon – The Great Adventure – Sword & Shield is a manga drawn by Yamamoto Satoshi and written by Hidenori Kusaka. It takes place in the region of Galar (reminiscent of Great Britain), where we follow the story of Arnold, a young boy who had just moved to the region. As he spots a giant Pokémon, it almost falls off a cliff, but is saved by Sword and Shield, two trainers. This encounter will mark the start of Arnold’s journey, since it will allow him to obtain his very first Pokémon.

Spider-Man: The Last Fight is a comic book written by Mark Millar, and drawn by Terry Dodson and Frank Cho. It is a version reissued by Panini under the label “Must Have”, a collection of essential superhero adventures according to the publisher. In Spider-Man: The Last Fight, one of Peter Parker’s enemies learns the true identity of the Spider-Man, and kidnaps Aunt May. Spider-Man will have to face several opponents before he gets his hands on the troublemaker.

Star Wars – The Path of Destiny is a comic strip written by Charles Soule and Greg Pak, and drawn by Jesus Saiz and Raffaele Lenco. It takes place just after the events of the 1980 film, The Empire Strikes Back. The Rebel Alliance has just suffered a crushing defeat against the Empire. Han Solo, betrayed by Lando, is delivered to the enemy as Luke Skywalker learns the truth about his family origins.

Halo: Collateral Damage

Halo: Collateral Damage is a comic book written by Alex Irvine and drawn by Dave Corsland. It tells the story of the Great War, the biggest conflict of the interstellar age. The latter pitted the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) against the Covenant Alliance, an extraterrestrial religious empire. We follow the first battles of the Spartan project (which includes the Master Chief), responsible for discovering the intentions of the Alliance in a mining station.
