Game news Maneater: art director confirms arrival of DLC
With its very particular concept, the title of Tripwire Interactive which immerses you in the skin of a shark was one of the most amazing games of 2020 and the latter even promises to return in 2021 thanks to a DLC that has just been confirmed by one of the game developers.
Announced at E3 2018, Maneater was one of the standout games at this year’s PC Gaming Show. Open world RPG, the title of Tripwire Interactive, previously known for Killing Floor, allows you to embody a shark which aims to terrorize bathers or even devour them which will have the consequence of making it progress and allowing it to explore new regions within an aquatic open-world.
With the debauchery of gratuitous violence he offers, the game seems to have found its audience since it has sold more than a million copies on PC, PS4 and Xbox One according to Koch Media. In addition, in response to this success, Tripwire Interactive has also developed next-gen patches for the PS5 and Xbox Series versions, both released during the month of November.
But the Roswell-based studio doesn’t seem to be done with the title just yet. Indeed, in a session of Ask Me Anything on Reddit, Sean McBride, artistic director of the game, announced that a DLC was in development, without giving more information about the content and the release date:
The DLC has been confirmed! The team has been working on it for a while now. Hope to share more information very soon.
