Like many free-to-play games, Magic Legends will opt for a Battle Pass, divided into two categories, one free, and the other paid.

The Battle Pass is becoming the norm in many free-to-play games, especially after the success of the formula in Fortnite. We find it in Genshin Impact, but also Destiny 2, and many others. Magic Legends is no exception, since the Cryptic studio unveils the main features of this feature.

Free and paid

Each new season, the first of which will be launched during the open beta on March 23, a new pass will be offered to players. Like its competitors, it will be divided into two categories:

  • A free line: which does not require any purchase
  • A pay line: which requires the purchase of a pass for around 10 €, the premium currency used in most of the games published by Perfect World.

Concretely, in both cases, 50 levels await players, with rewards at stake. Those opting for the paid version, will also receive the rewards of the free version, and they will be more interesting there.

Inside this pass, whatever the line, on will find elements of appearances for our character and our creatures, but also something to evolve your hero, in-game currency and material packs.

To progress, Cryptic indicates that daily and weekly challenges will be available, thus increasing an experience bar, and therefore the levels.

Magic Legends will be released on March 23 for PC and in open beta (via the Epic Games Store), before a more official release on Xbox and PlayStation later this year.
