Magic Legends continues to unfold as it approaches its open beta on PC, which kicks off on March 23. At its launch, the action-RPG of Perfect World and Cryptic Studios (Neverwinter, Star Trek Online) will offer to survey three planes of the Multiverse, well known to fans of the card game Magic the Gathering.

Magic Legends players will thus be able to discover the giant forests of Zendikar, the gothic atmosphere as well as Dominaria, which is home to a variety of terrains such as the volcanic island of Shiv and the swamp-lined plains of Benalia.

As screenwriter Winter Mullenix explains in this video, the game takes place “during a time of tension”: after Dominaria’s restoration, and before the Age of Amonkhet’s destruction. Of course, other plans and regions will be added after the game’s release, scheduled for 2021 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in free-to-play.
