You can die many deaths in Valheim. Trolls, giant boss opponents or the worst enemy of all- the nasty killer mosquitoes want your Viking leather. It is especially stupid when you die far away from your home and your loot is lying around in the world inaccessible to you. But do not despair, because a player clan will help you!
The Body Recovery Squad saves you and your loot
Some Valheim players have joined forces to form the Body Recovery Squad- “BRS” for short. If you’ve lost your equipment or are stuck on an island that is far too dangerous, you can call them for help. There are quite a few adventurous success stories on Reddit.
What kind of help does the BRS offer? The player clan operates under the motto “No Iron Left Behind”. If you request support, they will accompany you in your game world, regardless of whether you want to recapture your loot or whether you need help with the journey home.
So you get a team of strong warriors to support you- even Odin should be impressed by so much commitment from the Viking community.
How do I call the BRS for help? You can reach the squad via their Discord channel. With #assistance-application you can signal that you need support, then you make an appointment for the adventure. At the moment there are four operators that are available for use.
How exactly does it work? A thank you on Reddit shows what a mission of the BRS looks like. The player DuinCloud ventured too far into the world and was assassinated by Deathsquitos.
He tried on his own to get his lost loot back, but the murderous insects caught him a second time. Instead of giving up in frustration, he remembered the BRS and contacted the group:
“After counting to ten, I didn’t stop in anger, but remembered seeing a post from the Body Recovery Squad on Reddit. So I got in touch. And in no time, I was on a fun adventure and Got my equipment back. It was wonderful. The people at BRS were also very friendly. I recommend!”
Many Valheim players are also grateful and enthusiastic on the group’s Discord server. Most of all, they are happy that they don’t have a long grind time ahead of them to get back everything they lost.
