Steam offers you a new option: you can link your account to your PlayStation Network account and collect rewards for it. However, this only works for certain games. We have all the information for you.

How does it work and what’s in it for me?

How to link your accounts: Logically, you need an active account on both Steam and PSN. The easiest way to link them is directly in the respective game, for example Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. Download the latest update from Steam, launch the game and enter your PSN details when prompted. Otherwise just look under Options.

The other option requires you to log into PSN on PC, download an eligible game, and then enter your PSN details on first launch. The list of available titles is at the bottom of the article.

What do you get for it? Sony is throwing in some in-game rewards for connecting a Steam game to PSN. For example skins or items. In the case of Spider-Man Remastered, you get:

  • Den Resilient Suit
  • Das Concussive Blast Gadget
  • 2 skill points

You can also unlock these rewards in-game, so they are not exclusive. If you have already earned the maximum number of skill points, you will not get any additional ones.
