Playtonic and Mega Wobble have released a new update for Game Lil Gator.
The highlight is the inclusion of a Speedrun mode in the settings. On top of that, quality of life improvements have arrived with various tweaks and bug fixes.
The full patch notes are as follows:
fast race mode
Added Speedrun mode to settings:
- Add an in-game timer
- Full Speed Auto Attack Swings
- Fast forward through all text
- Limits the frame rate to 60 during dialogue, to ensure consistency between runs.
- Skips name input and automatically gives the player a name.
- Added “autoname” parameter. Allows the user to customize the name that will be used.
- Added “Customize Time Controls” submenu. Allows the user to customize checkpoints for the game timer.
settings
- By the end of the game, Big Sis is a bit more talkative.
- Foliage no longer obscures the camera as much.
- Becca and Summantha give slightly clearer clues.
- Having finished hitting the rock for Susanne, it’s now a little harder to accidentally skip the first line of dialogue that starts.
- The portrait can now be picked up by interacting with it.
Correction of errors
- Franny won’t forget to give a DIY idea anymore.
- Junk Shop no longer breaks when using a special build.
- Sam drops her pencil a second time.
- Tutorials are no longer displayed for unequipped item slots.
- Jada remembers blinking.
- When using a special configuration, you may still get “Oof!” achievement
- Twig no longer loses track of you.
- Challenge buttons trigger more consistently.
- Various bug fixes.
- Fixed some typos.
