The Skywalker Saga officially closed its chapter on December 18, 2019, the theatrical release date of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. To accompany the arrival of this ultimate adventure, the LEGO franchise has planned to offer players a brand new Star Wars game retracing all of the nine canonical films. This opus was supposed to see the light of day in 2020, but was unfortunately postponed to spring 2021. Well that was valid until today.

Bad news, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the game from TT Games retracing all nine numbered films of the Star Wars saga and offering players to play more than 300 characters from this iconic universe has once again been repelled. The news broke just minutes ago on the studio’s official Twitter account.

At TT Games, we’re all working hard to make LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga the biggest and best LEGO game ever, but we’ll need more time to do it. We won’t be able to fix a planned spring release date, but will provide the updated launch schedule as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, no new release window has yet been shared by TT Games. We will therefore have to take our troubles patiently, and wait again and again. As a reminder, the game is expected on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
