Rumor has it that TT Games has a big project going right now as they are giving the lego harry potter games a makeover similar to that given to the Star Wars games in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The problem is that this would have meant the indefinite delay of lego batman 4while the Mandalorian DLC offered for The Skywalker Saga is also up for grabs.
Lego Batman 4 might not see the light of day
Lego Batman 4 has apparently been shelved entirely to make way for the reboot of the Lego Harry Potter saga, according to sources who spoke to Nintendo Life. Although the game has not been officially cancelled, the current state of the game’s development at TT Games does not bode well for its future.
A Lego Disney game has been canceled after four years in development, although this is apparently due to its many similarities to the early access release of Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. Other casualties include Lego Guardians of the Galaxy, a mobile port of Lego Worlds and a non-Lego shooter originally based on the Funko license. Support for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has also stalled due to the Harry Potter Project, meaning players may never see the rumored Mandalorian DLC. WB Games even has Lego games in development at other studios.
No further details are available regarding the Lego Harry Potter reboot, but if the rumors are true, we should find out soon.
