Guerrilla Games announced through an official tweet that in a few weeks the online servers of Killzone: Mercenary from Killzone Shadow Fall and also of its modality Interceptas well as of RIGS: Mechanized Combat League.

Guerrilla Games announces the near closure of the online servers of some titles belonging to the Killzone series

The Dutch development team has therefore revealed that fans will no longer be able to play the multiplayer components of the three games mentioned above starting on Friday. August 12, 2022 but obviously it is good to specify how even after this date the titles involved in this closure will be able to continue to be played normally in offline way obviously through their respective single player campaigns.

On August 12, 2022, the online servers for Killzone: Mercenary, Shadow Fall (including Intercept mode) and RIGS: Mechanized Combat League will be officially closed. Online features (including online multiplayer modes) will cease on that date. The offline single player modes will normally remain available after that date
