Infinity Ward confirmed that it was investigating an issue with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 which disables killcams in certain game modes.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 introduced some changes to the multiplayer component of Modern Warfare 2019, including a new perk system where players earn two perks during a match.

However, it follows the Call of Duty line, including the ability to get killstreaks after eliminating a certain number of enemies in a row without dying. The killcam is one of the key features of Call of Duty multiplayer, as players can use it to get a feel for their opponent’s playstyle.

It can also be used to see what weapon enemy players are using, making it an essential tool for gaining more information about the opposing team. Now, a new issue with Modern Warfare 2 has resulted in killcams being disabled in some game modes.

A tweet from developer Infinity Ward confirms that a persistent issue in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has resulted in the killcam being disabled during multiplayer matches in certain modes.

He also mentions that players can follow the full list of issues present in Modern Warfare 2 on Trello. Fans should note that the exact cause of this issue seems unclear, so they’ll have to wait for an update from Infinity Ward.
