For many years, Xbox Live Gold subscribers have been able to download and play a selection of free video games each weekend, a benefit that subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate service can also enjoy. For this weekend Microsoft’s selection includes Scarlet Nexus, The Ascent and TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2.
Starting today, all Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can download and play the aforementioned titles on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles without restrictions. In addition, it will be possible to buy the three games of the selection of Free Play Days with discounts in Microsoft Store for a limited time.
The first game offered by Free Play Days is Scarlet Nexus, a Bandai Namco video game that arrived in mid-2021 and a few months later was available on Xbox Game Pass. Scarlet Nexus left the Game Pass service on the last day of December 2022, so you can take advantage of this weekend to play it if you haven’t had the chance. Moreover, Scarlet Nexus is 75% off in the Microsoft store, so you can buy it for just MXN$300.
In the case of TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2, this motorcycle racing simulator does not offer a temporary discount while it is in Free Play Days, but it is possible to play it for free this weekend on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. This simulator was developed by KT Racing and originally arrived in 2020.
We finally have the ascent, a cyberpunk-style isometric shooter that originally arrived in mid-2021, available on Xbox Game Pass upon launch. During the following days it will be possible to buy the standard edition of The Ascent with a 65% discount, so it has a price of only $206.65.
If you’re an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, try Scarlet Nexus, The Ascent or TT Isle of Man Ride on the Edge 2 for free on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
