Hogwarts Legacy went on sale on February 10, 2023 and the game was a complete success, as evidenced by its incredible sales in our country and our applause in the review for the good work of avalanche software. The game is set in the same universe as the Harry Potter books and films, but some 100 years before Harry set foot inside the walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The author of the Harry Potter books, JK Rowling, has previously made conservative comments on Twitter, earning him the transphobic label. There was even an attempt to boycott Hogwarts Legacy, despite Rowling having nothing to do with developing the game.
JK Rowling now has the chance to tell her side of the story, and she does so in a new seven-part podcast series called The Witch Trials of JK Rowling, according to Variety. The first two episodes are out today, February 21, on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and “other audio platforms.” New episodes will be released weekly.
“What has interested me in recent years, especially on social media, is when fans say, ‘You ruined your legacy. You could have been loved forever, but you chose to say that.’ And I think, ‘You couldn’t have misunderstood me any deeper’.
“I never tried to upset anyone. However, I didn’t feel like giving up.”
