¿Es Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Steam Deck compatible? If you’re both a Soulsborne fan and an owner of Valve’s portable powerhouse, you’re probably eager to find out if you can play the action-RPG on the go. To help you in your quest, we tested Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on a portable console to see if it is really compatible.

We strongly recommend that you check the system requirements for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty before diving into the game on the Steam Deck. As you’d expect, you’ll need one of the best Steam Deck SD cards to install Soulslike on the 64GB model.

¿Es Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Steam Deck compatible?

Yes, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is compatible with Steam Deck, but Team Ninja says it’s not officially compatible with handhelds. This means that while it’s technically playable, the developer isn’t actively working to improve the experience on Valve’s laptop. In turn, this potentially means that specific crashes and performance issues will go unresolved, which may prevent you from achieving Steam Deck Verified status.

That said, you can play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on the Steam Deck, and performance doesn’t seem to be an issue. Of course, you’ll have to turn off all the settings to increase the frames per second and avoid slideshow scenarios, but the experience is far from offensive. However, we encountered some frame drops during combat, which could affect your success during intense combat.

It’s worth noting that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is apparently locked to 720p on the handheld screen. Theoretically, you can play at higher resolutions using the best Steam Deck, but you’ll need to support widescreen when using the built-in display. Unfortunately, manually changing the scaling setting from “native” to 1280×800 doesn’t fix the problem, meaning you’ll have to accept the weirdness for now.

Our Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty review explains why the action-adventure is an enjoyable Souslike experience, and it could end up being one of the best PC games to release in 2023.
