With Season 16: Revelry, Apex Legends added new class abilities for each set of playable characters. This is to make sure you think more about your legend choice at the start of each game. How does Care Package Insight work in Apex Legends?
As mentioned above, only Skirmishers have the Care Package Insight ability in Apex Legends. When playing with this class, you can tell what items are in a care package when it drops to the ground and while it’s sitting there. You can also tell when an enemy has reached it with this tool. All of this to give you enough information to decide if you want to fight for him or leave him alone.
For Care Package Insight to work, all you have to do is watch the box as it falls or lands. You must have a direct line of sight for this to work. After watching it for a few seconds, you’ll be told which item is the most valuable, and you can alert your teammates so they know where you’re going and why. If the symbol turns gray for you, it means someone has already taken the item.
With how fast the guerrillas are, you might want to consider establishing escape routes when looking for a care package. Give your team the mobility to get out of sticky situations while keeping valuable items you can get from the care package.
