In octopathic traveler 2, there are Scent of Commerce quests that Partitio can take on, and the one in Winterbloom involves bringing three musicians to Audley to add a gramophone to each tavern. However, you do not receive any clues to the location of these three NPCs. Unless you’re very careful visiting different towns in the game, you might even have passed them without warning.
Here are the three musicians you will need Partitio to bring to Winterbloom for this. octopathic traveler 2 Smell from the Trade Tavern Gramophone quest. Either way, take them immediately to Audley’s mansion east of town to tape their performance. Note that if you use someone other than Partitio to get the NPC into your party, you will need to have both Partitio and that person in the party at the same time when you go to talk to Audley.
- Guitarist – When you enter Crackridge during the day, you will see the guitarist at the entrance to town. Now you can have someone like Temenos guide you or you can do what I did and wait until you come home for the night and Partitio hires you for 2000 leaves.
- Cleric Playing Piano – When visiting Flamechurch, head to the chapel where Temenos began his journey. During the day, there will be a cleric NPC at the piano. Have Temenos lead them, then return to Winterbloom.
- Violinist: In the Canalbrine Tavern during the day, there will be a traveling violinist on the first floor. Use Temenos’ guide path action, then go talk to Audley.
Once the three musicians have made their recordings, Audley and Partitio will speak. The end product will be called a “gramophone”. You will then be able to get records from stores and people to play it, adding jukebox functionality to the game.
