You’ll find Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy, and there’s a difficult one to complete near North Ford Bog. You can find this location at the top of the Hogwarts world map. When you arrive, you’ll need to complete the puzzle to add another completed Trial of Merlin to your growing list. How to Complete Merlin’s Trial at North Ford Bog in Hogwarts Legacy
Merlin Trial is east of the fast travel location North Ford Bog Floo Flame. It’s in the northern part of the map, near the top of Hogsmeade. You can get to this location on foot, but we recommend using a broom or flying a creature to reach this location.

When you arrive and activate Merlin’s Trial, a few large bedrocks will appear on the cliffs next to you. You will need to use the Confringo spell to destroy them. However, there will be three hidden rocks that you need to reveal. To find them, the best way to do so is to use the Revelio spell, highlighting their locations. They will be hidden behind vines, preventing your spells from touching them.

The only way to circumvent these vines is to destroy them using the Confringo spell. You need to do this once and then use the Confringo spell again to destroy the rocks. Once you’ve destroyed each of these rocks, Merlin’s test is over and you can continue exploring this place in search of other hidden treasures that elude you.
