(You’ll have a good chance of succeeding at level 15 or higher.) You’ll get “The Truth of the Arcade” for your efforts.
From there, he returns to the couple in New Delsta. You can then talk to the woman and tell her the truth on Game Parlor. Once you do, the husband will realize his mistake. As a thank you for completing “A Gambling Man” in octopathic traveler 2you will get a victory ring and a power grenade.
