After meeting Chief Alfarin and helping various residents of Redwake in Roblox Arcane Odyssey, you may have found several kegs of red powder near the settlement dock. These barrels can be lifted and moved, but you might be wondering how to use them for your adventure. Like Sea of Thieves, these explosive items can be used as cargo and sold to specific NPCs on certain islands. While you won’t naturally earn as much money as clearing out a pirate or smuggler camp, gunpowder kegs can be an easy way to make a quick bag of galleons for your trip.

Selling gunpowder and cargo barrels in Arcane Odyssey

Selling gunpowder barrels works the same way as selling ship cargo in Roblox Arcane Odyssey. If this is your first time delivering cargo, you can talk to a Shipwright NPC to learn the basics. Each settlement’s shipbuilder has a stack of crates and supplies next to their location on Roblox. You can buy supplies from this stash to deliver to another island’s shipbuilder for profit. For example, we bought a crate on Frostmill Island for 50 galleons and brought it to Elgfrothi in Redwake. The delivery reward was 63 galleons, which means we made a profit of 13.
Likewise, you can take any barrel of gunpowder you find in Arcane Odyssey and deliver it as cargo to another island for 25 galleons. In our case, we found two barrels of gunpowder near Redwake Dock and brought them to Alice Avery on Frostmill Island for a reward of 50 Galleons. The process took less than 3 minutes on our sailboat, making it a decent source of passive income in Roblox Arcane Odyssey, especially since we had already decided to make the trip. However, keep in mind that powder kegs can explode. Nothing happened when we shot a barrel with our flintlock, but we blew up our character by throwing Explosive Magic into the barrel.
