While Diablo IV has some limitations on the number of healing potions players can use, you will also be able to upgrade them throughout the game. This can be done by using crafting materials you find by exploring Sanctuary and leveling up from level. Once you gain access to Kyovashad and are at level 10, you can immediately upgrade your potions as long as you have the appropriate gear.
Luckily, you only need Biteberries, Gallowvine, and other herbs which you can get by opening chests given to you by completing side quests. You’ll have more than enough materials at level 10 for this first upgrade, which will give your overall healing a decent boost. That said, you cannot max out your healing potions immediately. Instead, you’ll be level-locked. So even if you have the right materials, you can’t upgrade your healing potions until you reach the required level. Diablo IV without this condition being met.
You can see the levels required to upgrade your healing potions below.
