If you want to improve Zhongli or Yanfei character talents in the Overflowing Mastery repeat event in Genshin Impact, you will need a material called Guide to Gold. For example, those looking to bolster Zhongli’s Jade Shield with her elemental skill Dominus Lapidis will need to spend guides towards gold after reaching higher levels of character ancestry. Likewise, Yanfei and other units using this talent leveling material will definitely need it if you plan to use the corresponding characters frequently in battle. Leveling up a character is important, but ignoring the advancement of their talents will put them at a huge disadvantage during battle.

There are three main ways to get gold guides in Genshin Impact. The first and most effective way is to visit the Taishan Mansion, a mastery field located in the Jueyun Karst of the Minlin region of Liyue. You can find the location by investigating the lake west of Qingyun Peak. If you’re a new Genshin Impact player, you’ll need to unlock Taishan Mansion by completing a puzzle, which can be launched using the device in the northeast corner of Jueyun Karst. Once activated, the mechanism will lower the water, after which you must break Geograna’s ores and guide Geograna to nearby lanterns.

Once the Taishan Mansion entrance is accessible, you start collecting the Golden Talent Level Material Guide in Genshin Impact by participating in Domain of Mastery: Heart of the Flames II at level 54 or higher. Please note that Gold Guides will only be served as a reward on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday local time. You can also get Gold Guides by combining three Gold Teachings at an Alchemist Crafting Workbench. The third way to get this character talent material is by using the Parametric Transformer, but the materials received will still be random. Once you have enough gold guides in Genshin Impact, you can spend on the following characters: Zhongli, Yanfei, Xinyan, Xingqiu, Beidou, and Geo Traveler.
