Wild Hearts has captured the screens of RPG fans since its release. One of the most appealing aspects of the game is the variety of weapons available to players. From massive swords to rapid-fire bows, the game offers an arsenal of unique and deadly tools for players to hunt down Kemonos. However, players have noticed how overpowered one weapon in particular is: the bow. It’s a flexible and very versatile weapon with ridiculous burst damage. In this guide, you will learn how to master the bow path and get the best bow setup in Wild Hearts.
What is the best bow to craft in Wild Hearts?

In Wild Hearts, you can craft weapons at the Natsume Forge. Weapons you craft can also be upgraded later.
Some of their early bows include the Edgestone Bow 2 and the Creeping Vine Bow 2, which can deal solid damage. The Edgestone bow deals water damage, which will come in handy when fighting the Lavaback Kemono. The Creeping Bow, on the other hand, deals massive damage without a skin, which speeds up all of your encounters.

If you are nearing the end of the game, you can craft the Yashima Bow. Its -20% crit rate might seem unattractive, but it’s not a factor to consider when building your bow. The bow deals massive burst damage instead of relying on a single critical hit. Consistently dealing 117 damage, Yashima’s Bow is your best choice for the late game.
What skills should you inherit to get the best bow build?
Wild Hearts Skill Legacy allows you to pass skills from previously unlocked nodes to future nodes. In fact, if you like farming, you can even unlock the whole tree farm with as many passive abilities as you want.
The best passive traits you want to inherit are:
- extreme archery: reduces resistance loss
- Shattered Beast Cry Arrow: increases your damage
- Fusion Reaper: recover Karakuri faster
- Knock out Marvel: reduces boost time
The first two skills will help you control your stamina and increase the damage you deal. This means you can deal even more relentless and deadly damage each time. These last two give you a boost in the two mechanics you’ll be using a lot: a Reinforced Bow and your Karakuri.
What are the best bow combos in Wild Hearts?

Here are some of the best combos you can try with your bow.
Reinforce or charge your bow once in Haya position + Stack the arrows on the enemy + Shoot once in Otoya position to detonate the arrows. You can use the Karakuris box to jump in the air and blast your arrows above the enemy.
Reinforce or load your bow twice in Haya stance + Stack arrows on the enemy + Shoot once in Otoya stance to detonate arrows.
Reinforce or charge your bow twice in Otoya Stance + Charge your Otoya Stance to fire and explode simultaneously. This combo will deal massive damage, but can quickly deplete your stamina bar, so use it sparingly.
