This nifty device places a platform on the ground that party members can walk on to randomly change their character to one of the playable races available in the game minus Dracthyr. What is the Atomic Recalibrator in World of Warcraft?
The Atomic Recalibrator is a toy you can learn and add to your toy collection. When using it, a pad will appear in front of your character and persist for three minutes. During this time, any member of your party can enter the platform to switch to a random playable race of any gender. This apparition lasts one hour and persists until death. However, the toy has a 12 hour cooldown, so use it wisely!

How to make the Atomic Recalibrator toy in World of Warcraft
The Atomic Recalibrator is designed by professional Dragonflight Engineering. To learn the blueprint, the engineer must spend 10 points in the Mechanical Spirit node of their career specializations and learn the What’s New sub-specialization. You must also have a skill of at least 65 to learn the recipe.
- Open your Dragonflight engineering menu.
- Go to the third tab, Mechanical Mind. After spending 10 points on the first node, you will be able to unlock the novelties of the lower right node subspec. By doing so, you will automatically learn the ability to craft the Atomic Recalibrator.
The Atomic Recalibrator can be crafted at the Tinker’s Workbench in Valdrakken using the following materials:
- 20 Handful of Severe Screws
- 6 shock spring coils
- 4 oiled sprockets
- 2 arc light capacitors
- 2 reinforced machine frames

Buy the Atomic Recalibrator from the Auction House
The Atomic Recalibrator toy can be created by engineers, but can be attached to the team and anyone, regardless of profession. If you are not an engineer, you can also buy the toy at the auction house. Because the content is new, the Atomic Recalibrator can be purchased at a relatively low price.
Engineers are still the masters of crazy and fun gadgets to use in World of Warcraft. Dragonflight Engineering also has access to another fun toy called Environmental Emulator. Don’t stop there though! These are just some of the exciting rewards added in the Dragonflight expansion.
