Demon Rock is one of the few crafting materials you’ll find in Wild Hearts. It is needed to help you craft armor and weapons from a pair of Water Elemental Kemono, the Deathstalker, and Icetusk. Learning how to farm this material is crucial, as these armor sets are your best chance of surviving against the final boss of the campaign. This guide will tell you how to get Demon Rock in Wild Hearts.

Where to find Demon Rock in Wild Hearts

Demon Rock is a late game variant of a crafting material called Lightstone. This item can only be found in one location, which changes its name depending on which chapter you select on the world map. To start farming this material, you need to head to the snowy mountains of the strong ice cream in chapter 3 or Fuerte Fuyufusagi in Chapter 4. These slots are the same, but their names will change depending on the chapter selected. Once you are here you can start your search. To start, this is the mineral you want to look for in the image below.

Once you reach this area, you can search for orange gems covered in black ore scattered throughout the open world of this icy realm. Since it is considered a mineral, it will either be near rock faces or on cliff faces as you climb them.

Follow the map below to see the three main Demon Rock spawn locations. To mine this mineral repeatedly, we suggest that you quickly travel to the chapter 3 version of the starting camp, run to previous areas, then return to the same location in chapter 4 to force those rare gems to respawn constantly. Running this cycle can net you around 12 Demon Rock per run.

We also recommend building a Tsukumo Ore Shrine. You can unlock this Karakuri Dragon in the Karakuri skill tree tab of the menu screen. If you build them in your camp, your little mechanical pets will scavenge Demon Rock for you. Take advantage of their help to craft excellent water-infused weapons and armor.
