In Minecraft, Conduits are objects that not only allow you to breathe water around them, but also damage any hostile mobs within their radius. Plus, you can mine faster and see better in your radius. This makes the Conduit essential if you’re going to mine ocean biomes or other water-filled areas. However, Conduit can only be crafted with one key ingredient which can be difficult to find. Here’s how to find and get a Heart of the Sea in Minecraft.

Where to find a sea heart in Minecraft
A Heart of the Sea is an item you will need to find in your survival world if you want to create a Conduit. You cannot craft one, and mobs do not drop the item or trade it for villagers. Instead, you’ll need to find it in a buried treasure chest.
Before you can find a buried treasure chest, you need to find a sunken ship. As you might have guessed, sunken ships can be found underwater in ocean biomes, but they also have a chance to spawn on beaches and other terrain near water. For better vision, try using a night vision potion to help you see more easily in dark water. As you move through the ocean, feed a dolphin raw cod or raw salmon and they will lead you to the nearest buried treasure or wreck.
When you find a sunken ship, look around it to find a chest with a treasure map inside. Look at the map and follow it to the X to find another chest buried underground.

A Heart of the Sea will reside in this chest which you can combine with eight Nautilus Shells to create a Conduit. There are no other uses for the Heart of the Sea, at least at the time of this writing.
