Tracking down all the key locations in Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian is no easy task. The Daedalian Keys side quest is one of the first you’ll come across, and like that pesky Hogwarts Legacy Gobstones quest, it involves a lot of running around the castle in search of easily overlooked elusive items. Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Key Locations
Hogwarts Legacy Astronomy Classroom Daedalian Key
Nearest Chimney: Astronomy Tower
The first key is quite easy to find as your map marker will guide you there. Follow the on-screen prompts from the Courtyard of the Transfiguration to the Astronomy Tower, where you will find the key to go up the spiral staircase on your left once you get to the Llama Floo Astronomy Tower . Follow the key down the stairs and into the circular classroom past the floor flame, and the cupboard will be on your left as you enter.
Hogwarts Legacy Defense Against the Dark Arts Daedalian Key
Closest Floo Flame: Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom
Go to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and go down the stairs one floor. There will be a jingle of keys near the rhinoceros skeleton. Follow him up the stairs to a cupboard on the landing one floor above you.
Hogwarts Legacy Central Hall / Daedalian Key to the Courtyard
Nearest Chimney: Central Hall
In the central hallway, head towards the greenhouse doors to find the key waiting for you to your right. Turn around and head for the doors to the Courtyard of Transfiguration, but instead of going through them, check the alcove to your right to find the cabinet.
Hogwarts Legacy Library Daedalian Key
Nearest Floo Call: Library
Fast travel to the library and find the key floating between the shelves to your right. Follow the key to the opposite side of the bookcase, opposite the fireplace you used to travel here, and you’ll see the cabinet in the back corner.
Hogwarts Legacy Central Hall / Viaduct Daedalian key
Nearest Chimney: Central Hall
When you get to the central room, go up the stairs to the viaduct, but don’t go through the doors. Look right behind the ladder to find a floating key, then follow it up the stairs and to the right.
Hogwarts Legacy Faculty Wing Daedalian Key
Nearest Flooflame: Faculty Wing
Run right after you reach the fireplace flame in the faculty wing, and when you see Gladwyn Moon standing in front of a door, go through it. You’ll visit this area during his quest, The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament, but you can come back for the key later. Head up the stairs and you’ll hear the keys on the upper landing one floor above you. Follow it to the cupboard near the door you entered through.
Hogwarts Legacy Prefect’s Bathroom Daedalian Key
Nearest Flooflame: Faculty Wing
Same as the previous key, head to the faculty wing and go through the door next to Gladwyn Moon. This time, head up the stairs until you come to a portrait hallway on your left. A key is found here, which will take you back to the cabinet next to the prefect’s bath, just behind you.
Hogwarts Legacy Map Chamber Daedalian Key
Closest Floo Flame: Card Chamber
From the map room, climb the spiral staircase to a large stone room. The key will whistle near the white Hogwarts Legacy eyeball chest, and can be followed down the hall and up some stairs to a room full of wooden barrels. The wardrobe is on the far left of the room.
Hogwarts Legacy Sleeping Dragon Daedalian clave
Nearest Chimney: Bell Tower Yard
From the bell tower hall, go up the stairs on your left to the History of Magic classroom, then down the stairs on your left. Go through the door on your right and head to the statue of a sleeping dragon, where you will find the key waiting for you. Follow him up the stairs to a cabinet you passed earlier.
Hogwarts Legacy Potions Class Daedalian Key
Closest Floo: Potions Room
After a quick trip to the potions classroom, turn left to find a key waiting at the top of some stairs. Follow him up the stairs and you’ll find the closet.
Hogwarts Legacy North Hall / Daedalian Magic Key Story
Nearest Chimney: Bell Tower Yard
Just like when you found the Sleeping Dragon Statue, go up some stairs to your right after a quick trip through the bell tower courtyard and stop outside the History of Magic classroom. There will be a key directly outside the classroom, so follow it up the stairs right behind you to find the cabinet on the top floor.
Hogwarts Legacy Quad Courtyard llave Daedalian
Closest Flame: Great Hall
From inside the Great Hall, walk to the center of the room and turn right through the large double doors. Go down and follow the sound of the key, which you’ll find at the bottom of the stairs and through an archway. Follow it to the Quad Courtyard, where it will lead you to a cabinet along the wall in one of the corners.
Hogwarts Legacy Clock Tower Daedalian Key
Nearest Floo Flame: Clock Tower Courtyard
When you reach the Clock Tower courtyard, go through the locked door on your left just ahead of you. Follow the stairs to the top, where you’ll find a key floating on the landing. You’ll go through another arch and take you higher, and you’ll find the cabinet to the left of this upper landing.
Daedalian Key to the Great Hall of Hogwarts Legacy
Fast travel to the Great Hall, enter it and turn left to see the key floating next to one of the Hogwarts Legacy puzzle doors. He’ll go through the wall next to it, so follow him to the opposite side of the Great Hall entrance and up the stone steps to find the cabinet.
Daedalian Key to the Hogwarts Legacy Entrance Hall
Nearest Floo: Viaduct
From the viaduct, go up the stairs and enter the entrance hall. You’ll see the cabinet to your left, and the key will be just up the stairs near the double doors that lead down the hallway by the point counters in the house.
Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Key to the Grand Staircase
Nearest chimney: Grand Staircase
From the Grand Staircase floor flame point, head up the stairs and listen for the key. He’ll guide you down the stairs and through one of the puzzle doors to a cabinet just to your left. You’ll see the house point counters on another small set of stairs to your left when you look into the cabinet.
What do you get for finding all Daedalian Keys?
After you find all the keys and collect the house tokens inside each cabinet, drop them in the crest chest inside your common room. Once all 16 tiles are placed, the chest will unlock and reward you with a House Heirloom Dress matching your House, which shines brightly during combat.
