It’s All Gobbledegook is a main story quest in Hogwarts Legacy, part of the story section where your overall goal is to stop Ranrok and Rookwood from doing the evil they have planned. In It’s All Gobbledegook, you are assisted by Lodgok, a friendly goblin, and Amit Thakkar, a classmate at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Your first goal is to talk to Amit, then go to the Goblin Mine to the southeast and meet Lodgok outside the entrance. Once Lodgok explains to you what he thinks Ranrok is doing, your next goal is to enter the Goblin Mine. But the door that blocks the entrance is locked, and besides, it looks rather strange.

You cannot interact with the door at the entrance to the Goblin Mine, nor can it be destroyed, no matter how many times you blow it up with your most destructive damage and strength spells. It also isn’t unlocked by completing any kind of puzzle or challenge, and you can’t cast your Alohomora spell to pick the locks. So how do you open the door to the goblin mine?

As you approach the door, your character should signal that he is looking at you. You might also notice there’s something familiar about this door, as it looks a lot like the closed-eye chests you might find scattered around the Hogwarts Legacy map. Just like those eye chests, the door has a magic eye. And if he sees you coming, he will panic and shut down. But if he doesn’t see you coming, he’ll open (even if he doesn’t know you’re there, which is weird, but magic doors are inherently weird, so accept that).

So to enter the Goblin Mine, you need to go where the door can’t see you, then cast Disillusion to make yourself invisible. Approach the door in this invisible state and it will open, allowing you to enter the Goblin Mine.
