How to complete Show Bravery: Pest Control at Dolly Sods in Fallout 76

Once you speak to the Scoutmaster at the Pioneer Scouts Campground in the northern part of the map, you will be given various tasks to prove that you have what it takes to be a Scout. One of those tasks is to rid Dolly Sods of all its pests and there are plenty of them. Start by heading to Dolly Sods Wilderness. This area is on the east side of the map in The Mire region. It is easily identifiable thanks to the drawing of the hut on the map to the south of the caves.

Once you reach Dolly Sods, talk to Scoutmaster Treadly. There is a bug that may cause the correct search to appear after this. If this happens, head to your Pip-Boy’s menu and activate the mission called Stings and Things. This will show you the quest markers and objectives needed to complete the task. You will need the following insect parts:

  • sucker fly gland
  • blood bug proboscis
  • cockroach meat
  • sting beard
  • tick blood bag

After activating the quest, you will see several quest areas appear like on the map above. Each search box will show you where at least one of the bugs you need to collect parts are. Head to each of the search areas, clear the bugs, and collect the bug parts. Once you’ve done that, bring them all to Scout Leader Treadly at Dolly Sods. After giving the coins to Treadly, the quest will be complete and you will have shown your bravery. You can now complete the archery test if you wish.
