When you enter Challenge Season in Destiny 2, the We Stand Unbroken quest will be available to work on as you complete Defiant playlists. These activities will pit you against the Legion of Shadow and protect Cabal prisoners who follow The Witness. Here’s what you need to know to complete We Stand Unbroken in Destiny 2.
All We Stand Unbroken quest steps in Destiny 2
There are 28 stages to complete this quest, and you can expect each to unlock as you progress through the challenge season. You may have to wait for the next reset on Tuesday before the next set of quest steps become available.

Step 1
The first step will be to complete the Righteous Defiance Season Challenge for the first week of Season of Defiance. You can do this by joining a Defiant Battleground: EDZ mission for the first time and then heading to the farm. You may see key story beats and characters appear at this point, but the next step will be to return to orbit and head to the HELM.
2nd step
The next step is to visit the war table. Mara will have a message for you, and you will want to hear her report on the matter and what happened on Earth.
Step 3
You will receive a War Table upgrade for completing the Righteous Defiance Season Challenge. You can now use it on the War Table, where you can choose how you want to receive your Awakened Favor, which appears during a difficult Battleground activity.
Step 4
For this step, head to the HELM and engage in an activity from the Defiant Battleground playlist. You’ll arrive with a squad of players and complete this seasonal activity, while earning an Awakening Favor during it. You will receive it based on the Awakening Perk you chose on the War Table.
Step 5
Their next step is to return to the Farm for a final report from Mara, where she explains her reasoning for aiding the Vanguard and working alongside those who serve the light.
Step 6
You’ll now have to wait for the next wave of quests to unlock, which should appear on Tuesday’s reset next week.
Step 7
There is another set of quests available for the We Stand Unbroken storyline for the challenge season. Head to the Wartable in HELM and talk to Amanda to get started.
Step 8
The next step is to get to Defiant Battleground: Cosmodrome and complete it at least once.
