Hogwarts Legacy is full of various quests you can take on, many of which are for your classmates. As you progress through the game, more and more tasks will appear. One of these tasks is Sophronia Franklin’s Hall or Herodian quest. She wants you to locate the Herodian Hall which is hidden within the walls of Hogwarts Castle and complete the puzzles inside. This guide will show you how to complete Herodian Hall in Hogwarts Legacy.

Before you can get this quest, you must first learn the Depulso spell from Professor Sharp by completing its tasks and progressing through the story to the point where you have completed your first beast class. Once you complete these tasks, you can find Sophronia next to the Charms classroom in the castle’s astronomy wing.

Talk to Sohpronia and she will tell you about the Herodian Hall. After the conversation, go to the bottom floor of the astronomy wing and locate the mark on the wall that looks like a button. Use the Depulso spell on the button to cause the wall to move and open, revealing the entrance to Herodian Hall.

Once inside, you will have to solve a series of puzzles which become more and more difficult as you progress through the hallway. Follow the hallway until you find the first puzzle room with two large blocks. This piece is simple. All you have to do is push the blocks against the wall using Depulso and use them to climb up to the door.

The second piece gets a little trickier. In this room there are two blocks, one double and one individual. Start by using Accio on the single block on the left side to pull him towards the door he entered through. This will move the block out of the way. Then use Accio on the double block to drag it to where the single block was. Finally, use Depulso on the double block to push it towards the door to exit. This will allow you to go up and through the next door. If you ever need to reset the puzzle, hit the glowing orb in the back corner of the room with a basic magic attack.

The final puzzle can be a bit tricky and requires a few extra steps. In this room, there is a double block that you can move. Start by using Accio to pull the block to the right side of the room. Then use Depulso to push the block towards the section of the wall that holds the reset. After that, use Accio once more to move the block into the space between the wall sections on the left side of the room. Use the block to match the gap with the section of wall to the left that you can stand on, then start the puzzle again.

With the puzzle reset, you should stand on the side of the room where the wall faces the reset orb. Use Accio to pull the block to the side of the room where the exit is. From there, pull the block again towards the left wall you are on. It should fill the remaining hole and allow you to jump to the exit.

Once the puzzle is complete, you should have all the pieces of Herodian’s famous clothing set. Bring the clothes to Sophronia near the Charm Room. Show the outfit to Sophronia to complete the quest.
