To help people on their journey to making Frey a real cat lady, we’ve created a quick guide to earning the abandoned Achievement cat person.
How to win the abandoned realization person cat
The first thing you need to know to become a true Athens cat lover is that while there are many ways to interact with cute kittens in abandoned, there is only one way to get the specific Cat Person achievement. It’s making friends with all of Tantas’ relatives. Each of the Athenian Tantas maintained a veritable brood of familiar felines endowed with magical powers. Your job as an aspiring cat lover is to look good with them: all twenty.
Fortunately, this is quite easy. All you have to do is visit Tanta’s family monument in the open world and befriend her associated cat.
Monuments look like sitting statues in the open world, shaped like big cats. Approach one and you’ll get a small indicator showing where the familiar is. Once near him, you will have to press a button on the shoulder to get closer by crouching. Stop moving if the cat is alert, then move again when it relaxes. When you get close enough, a button prompts you to pet the cat. Voila: He’s your friend, and they’ll give you biographical information about the cat, as well as seeing him visit you in the pilgrim shelters and your room in Cipal.
Each Tanta Family monument is marked on the map with a yellow cat’s paw icon. If you haven’t befriended a monument’s cat yet, a small purple flourish will appear, making it easier to see which monuments you’ve already reached. The larger map legend will also indicate if a given map region has a Tanta Family monument. So if there is one and you don’t see it on your map, explore a bit more and see if you can’t find it. Unlocking steeples and visiting shelters will also add more locations to your map.

Note: Not all locations will be accessible right out of the box. It’s best to follow the story and earn your movement enhancement spells like Zip and Glide to increase your mobility. You can even wait until you’re closer to the end of the game before tackling monuments, if you want to finish them all at once.
Cipal Tanta Family Monuments
Cipal’s only feline monument is located in the Sacred Hills, relatively close to Cipal’s city walls.
Praenost Tanta Family Monuments
Prenost, in the domain of Tanta Sila, five lodges abandoned cat monuments They are located in the areas of Dianthus Woods, Fields of the Fallen, Opal Hills, Brass Hollow and Middle Praenost. The Middle Praenost monument will likely be the first you see, as the game will display the Tanta Familiar walkthrough when you pass it.
Monuments of the Avoalet Tanta family
You have a good reason to infiltrate the forested territory of Tanta Prav, but no one said you can’t find the five cat monuments there while you’re there. The Water Gardens area has two monuments, while Golden Fields, Untrodden Forest, and Moulderings each have one. Be careful on the Moulderings, as accessing one will require the use of Glide.
Junoon Tanta Family Monuments

Junoon is the first place you visit in abandoned when you arrive in Athia, and it is the territory of Tanta Cinta, (former) Tanta of Love. Frey arrives through Cipal, home to two monuments of the Tanta family. The other two are in Blossomwoods and Wolfwoods. You will need to use Glide to reach the Wolfwoods Monument.
Why doesn’t Junoon have the fifth monument? It’s not explained directly, but Advik, the familiar linked to Cipal’s monument mentioned above, is one of Tanta Cinta, which means his fifth monument is technically located near Cipal, rather than Junoon.
Monumentos Familiares de Visoria Tanta
He abandoned The Visoria cat statues will likely be the ones you come across later, thanks to the Tanta Olas region which is further down Frey’s hit list. One of the benefits of this, however, is that you’ll have much of your traversal toolset unlocked by the time Visoria opens, making travel through its mountainous terrain more enjoyable. Visoria Tanta family monuments are located at Academy Hills, Windy Hills, Homestead Hills, Inner Visoria, and Tanta’s Demesne.
Hitting all twenty monuments of Tanta’s family and their associated fay cats should unlock the abandoned Reach Cat Person and you’ll gain almost two dozen new friends.
