As with any loot-focused title, you’ll end up with a slew of items that will ultimately do nothing for your Lost Ark build. Luckily, there are settings players can take advantage of to ensure they don’t have to sift through endless piles of loot to find the singular good piece that’s dropped. Lost Ark features an auto-disassembly feature that checks looted gear against player-set filters and automatically disassembles it into materials if the rolls aren’t high enough. How to open auto-dismount options
To open your auto dismantle options in Lost Ark, first open your inventory with the default button, ‘i’. At the bottom left of this inventory window you will see a hammer – click here to open your disassembly window.

This window allows for the manual dismantling of various pieces of gear, but we’re looking for something a little more granular than that. In the dismantle window, look again at the bottom left to find a button called “Auto dismantle”. Clicking this button brings up a host of options for automatically dismantling any loot below the specified qualities.

Lost Ark Auto Dismount Options
There are many options available for players to have granular control over what gets dismantled and what doesn’t. The easiest way to control this is to determine your gear level and dismantle anything that isn’t legendary. Radial Buttons will allow you to auto-dismount any piece of gear, regardless of previous presets, if it drops with a specific stat modifier that doesn’t match your build.

Careful reading through the window is highly recommended, otherwise you risk dismantling rare gear that you might otherwise have used. Judicious use of Auto Dismantle will help keep your inventory clean and uncluttered, leaving plenty more time for adventures in the fantasy world of Lost Ark.
