This is basically a paid opportunity. You must reserve a copy of Diablo 4 be part of. A standard copy costs $69.99. The Digital Deluxe with four-day early access, Temptation Mount, Hellborn Carapace Mount Armor, and Premium Seasonal Battle Pass Unlock is $89.99. The $99.99 Ultimate Edition includes everything in the Digital Deluxe version except the premium Season Battle Pass unlock, but also adds an accelerated Season Battle Pass unlock and the Wings of the Creator emote.
In many cases, it’s as simple as pre-ordering the game and then logging into the client when that weekend is March 17-20, 2023. However, if you’ve pre-ordered someone else, let’s say a physical store, you have a code that you must use. This may have been emailed to you or may be on the receipt you received. Then you enter Battle.net. Plus, if you’re going to play the Early Access weekend on your PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X, you’ll receive a PlayStation or Microsoft Store code to access the beta.
Once you’ve done all of that, you’ll be able to play from 9am PT/12pm ET on March 17, 2023 until 12am PT/3pm ET.
How can I access the Diablo 4 Open beta weekend?
It’s much easier. First download the beta client for Diablo 4. It will be available through Battle.net or console stores. Then you open it to play at 9am PT/12pm ET on March 24, 2023. You can then continue playing until 12am PT/3pm.
If you participate and reach certain milestones, you get bonus items for the full game. You get a first victim title if you reach Kyovashad. If you reach level 20 with a character, you get a Beta Wolf Pack cosmetic and an Early Voyager title. However, your characters and progress from the Early Access weekend and Open Beta will not carry over to the full game.
