We were left with the 1.08 update for Horizon Forbidden West, which has solved numerous bugs encountered by some users within the video game developed by Guerrilla Games, the team inside PlayStation Studios known for the Killzone series and for Horizon Zero Dawn.

Now, the development studio of Sony Interactive Entertainment has a new update 1.09 published for Horizon Forbidden West, introducing a new gameplay feature to possibly make the game experience faster and smoother.

The developers have in fact added in the game settings the possibility of turn off object collection animations game, in order to make the main character more fluid without having to block each time in front of the objects to be collected.

In Horizon Forbidden West it is now possible to disable the pickup animation for some in-game items

This useful game setting, especially designed for those users who have already completed the main story of the game and who want to focus on completeness without too many hitches, can be activated in Settings -> General.

Anyway, not all items will receive picking animation off, such as collection animations dedicated to animals, machines and chests. As for all the other objects, however, the protagonist will no longer have to stop and bend down to collect their resources.

It will now be much more convenient and fluid to collect resources and items such as flowers and wooden sticks without having to stop every time. This new game feature works fine even when Aloy is on the back of a car.

Did you see that the new chapter of the Horizon series was really a success for Sony?
