Several game developers have released statements regarding the sudden passing of Lanza Reddick, who was a familiar face in the gaming industry and loved by the gaming community. The 60-year-old actor died of natural causes on Friday morning.

Extending condolences to Reddick’s family and loved ones, guerrilla games thanked the actor for lending his “endless talent and wisdom” to his games, bringing Sylens’ character to life in Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West.
The studio said Reddick, who may appear posthumously in Horizon’s next expansion Forbidden West: Burning Shores, has had a “profound impact” on the Horizon cast and community. “We are deeply honored to work with you,” Guerrilla said. “We will miss you very much.”
In a separate statement, Bungee jumping said Reddick, who played Commander Zavala in Destiny, was an “iconic presence” in the franchise. “To say he will be missed is a gross understatement, but no less true,” the study adds.
As news of Reddick’s passing made headlines, Destiny 2 players gathered in-game to pay their respects to the late actor.
