The official Hogwarts Legacy Twitter account has revealed that the game’s new PS4 release date is May 5, 2023. peep might not appear for you (since the Twitter API is down at the moment), it says:

This calls into question whether Hogwarts Legacy is truly suitable for next-gen consoles and how much Avalanche Software has had to rebuild the engine and/or scale down the graphics to ensure it can run properly on PS4. At least it wasn’t cancelled.
It’s still unclear if this delay will affect the game’s release on Nintendo Switch at this point, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it did.
Meanwhile, Hogwarts Legacy still topped the UK charts for the fourth consecutive week, ahead of Metroid Prime Remastered and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
